Ingenuity SmartClean ChairMate Toddler Booster Seat- Slate

Product arrived covered in fiber glass. I ordered two and both came this way!! It got stuck in my fingers and all over my carpet. Absolutely unacceptable.

I bought this 4 years ago and absolutely loved it. Easy to clean, easy to use, easy to take with us anywhere. Just wish I could find replacement restraints and cover to use with my new little one.

The strap on the back part of the chair has twice cut the back of my sons neck.

Great at cleaning but the recline Is TOO much especially when baby is older and wanting to feed themselves.

It was supposed to be brand new, but came to me scuffed up and even had some hair on it! I returned it the same day that I got it in the mail.

I love that it sits on our dining room chair, has the removable tray, and it is good quality. It’s not great as the baby gets a little older as it doesn’t allow them to sit up properly. Even in the most upright position it’s still a bit reclined/curved. I would much rather have a flat bottom seat that allows him to sit up. He’s always leaning back and having a hard time reaching his food.

It's easy to set up, the clean up is a breeze

Sits way to high for most tables. Also recline feature is not good, barely reclines but then in up right position reclines to much for baby toddler to eat. Will not recommend or buy again.

Overall decent high chair at this price point. It’s convenient to attach to an existing chair instead of having a separate chair. Love that there is a removal tray for easy clean up. Only downside is that it takes two hands to click the tray in. Difficult to do with a baby in hand. Also the recline is too much even on the highest setting. I have to use a blanket to bring baby close to the table. Otherwise great chair.

Loved it while our little one was a baby. Super easy to clean. Loved that the tray topper can be taken off to wash and that you could also put food directly on the tray if the topper hadn’t been washed yet. The recline feature came in handy when he would fall asleep while eating! The only negative is, now that he’s a toddler the handles that hold the tray stick way out so we can’t pull him up close enough to eat at the table with us. Now we need to buy a toddler booster

This is a decent high chair, but did not work for us and I will be returning it. Pros: easily removable tray, height adjustment (4 levels), easy to clean. Cons: the seat reclines too much even in the “upright” position which makes it incredibly difficult for my 7 month old to reach his food (we are doing baby led weaning) unless the food is placed RIGHT in front of him. He also generally looked uncomfortable in this position. My other complaint is that the tag that came on it (see photo) shows 3 recline positions but my husband and I are only able get it to lock into 2 positions (maybe there is supposed to be a fully upright setting but ours is defective??). I think this chair would work fine if you are spoon feeding purées, but if you are allowing your child to feed themself I do not recommend this chair. I hope they fix it because then I would be perfect!

Easy to put together and happy that it fits perfectly on one of my chairs so it takes up less space.

I love how slim this high chair is but yet it is sturdy and secure! It's a great space saver in our small kitchen and we can easily remove it when we need the chair for an adult. I highly recommend this chair!

We found the highchair to be nice-looking, compact, and easy to use. Our son throws the chair in his car and brings it along to our daughter's home, for his boy. The chair served us well on Christmas Day. It wiped clean in no time, and was so much easier to handle than a big highchair. I would recommend it highly to others.

Only negative thing to say about the product is that it is somewhat hard to adjust the height of the chair on your own--much easier with two people. Other than that a great product!

I love the adjustable height, removable tray that can be washed in the dishwasher, pads that come off too and are easy to clean and overall has a smart look to it. The only catch though makes this chair almost unusable- the seat sits back too far making it impossible for baby to sit up forward enough to eat off the tray. It has adjustable reclining settings for two different positions but because it doesn’t tilt forward enough my little one gets frustrated. I don’t think this will work when we move to a booster either because he will still lean back too far. Hoping they fix this on the product for the future. Personally I prefer a one point release button for the tray instead of the two side buttons as I often am holding my little one when putting the tray on and off.
