Sweet books with a good message

My Kindergartner and my 4th grader both love these books. This one is not divided into chapters but there are more words and pictures indicating what the characters are thinking and feeling. These are sweet stories with a great message and the graphics are adorable. The kids stay interested and engaged. They can pick it up and “read” it on their own if they aren’t reading yet. In this story Owly makes another new friend by being patient and empathetic. He also works through his own fears with that same patience and understanding.
