Weather sitting by the pool having a picnic or just a small snack These veggie straws hit the spot. The texture has a nice snap with an amazing screaming hot after taste just enough to get your taste buds bouncing. The package is durable and easy to store.

Gorgeous

These are such a staple when we travel, they're hard to find where we live sadly. The added spice is such a nice extra, the crisps are so addictive, the crunch is so satisfying and I don't feel guilty when I realise we've eaten the whole bag.

Very hot but salsa tasting

Screaming hot reminded me more a hot salsa than a hot Cheeto type experience. It could be because of the veggie straw base. The texture was the familiar potato starch I like and the spice level was very hot. Maybe too hot for me personally.

Sensible Portions Screamin' Hot Veggie Straws have a unique and bold flavor that's surprisingly tasty. The crunch is satisfying, and the spicy kick makes them very addictive. They definitely feel a bit different from regular chips, which is fun. However, after eating a small amount, they can feel a little heavy, and the saltiness is a bit too much. I wish the company would tone down the salt so they'd be easier to enjoy for longer. Overall, they're good, but could be even better with less salt.

Miserable taste

If you love regular veggie sticks and are looking for a nice spicy kick? Look somewhere else! These were horrible! They had no real taste at all. It was as if they had taken some cardboard sticks and just covered them with pepper and no other flavor. I can tolerate spiciness as long as the seasoning is right but these didn't taste like anything good. If you're looking for spiciness, buy the regular sea salt ones and add some hot sauce

Sold Me An EXPIRED Bag!

After picking up prescriptions, I always roam the aisles for deals and/or spontaneous buys. I found quite a few, with one of them being a bag of Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Straws, screamin' hot flavored. I didn't even think to look at the date, even upon opening the bag and eating some last night. But for whatever reason, I looked today as I reach for the bag and was shocked to see it should've been pulled from shelves at least 10 DAYS AGO! 🤬
