Rancid (bought in store)
I purchased this in store and it had an expiration date far away so I didn’t think anything negative. Unfortunately when I opened the package the smell was so rancid and I lost my appetite. I don’t know if it wasn’t refrigerated properly or what but it was terrible. The same thing happened with the turkey I purchased. Never again. I reached out to customer service for a refund.

Jelly like substance
I have been buying this ham for a year with no problem. This past weekend I purchased the ham…when I got home and opened it there was a clear jelly like substance in the middle of It. Gross!

We found a favorite a couple of years ago but felt like the quality was slowly declining. Slices were getting thinner and seemed to be smaller...Then I noticed this Smithfield ham and gave it a try. It was seriously so good! We have used it for cold sandwiches, hot ham and cheese sandwiches, and we have even sliced it up and used it in salads and to add to veggies. It's our new favorite!

Great tasting

After using this to make sandwiches I was very impressed and totally satisfied with the quality and how good my sandwiches were as if I had gotten them from a sandwich shop. The only disappointment I endured was when I went to the fridge to make another sandwich only to find out that I had ran out of ham. Not to worry it was short lived I immediately ran out and got more not only am I full but extremely happy.

I felt like it had plenty in the package, and the flavor was good. I also noticed that compared to other brands, it had less sugar and less fat. Overall, I really liked it.

We cooked up some slices of the ham in a skillet and added some toast and eggs to the meal; it was absolutely delicious. The ham was very juicy and full of genuine taste. What is even better is there are endless possibilities to cooking the honey ham. You can get different products like a whole ham, or just the slices of ham to cook up any type of meal. The packaging I thought was very bland, but you really don't need vibrant packaging for food, so it seemed feasible for the product. This ham is definitely a favorite in my home, and I will be continuing to make it for dinner many times over.

Honey ham is just delicious, but this one is amazing! Makes any sandwich seem like a high quality sandwich. I love it in the mornings with egg, cheese and in between cinnamon raisin bread.
