Q: So if this eco plastic is "releasing" the loosely-bonded tea tree compounds, what else is the material releasing as it degrades over its lifecycle? Binding agents perhaps? Would this release a novel type of residue in my hair cuticles?

A: HI! Thanks for reaching out. The tea tree oil (a small percentage) is infused with the raw PLA material and therefore part of the physical makeup of the brush itself. There are no other agents being used for this item since the bristles and comb and single piece construction. The oil, over time and use, will in very small amounts transfer to the hair and scalp while brushing. It is not a substantial amount but just enough to leave the scalp and hair nourished and the strands smoother

Bad quality, bad design, regret buying...
Bought this as a shower comb to take with me traveling, not a good idea and a waste of money. I liked the idea of it and I thought the comb would be slim and compact. Although slim, it's pretty wide and the handle is awkward to hold. I wouldn't have minded this but this hurts my scalp! The tips are not smooth and as someone with a sensitive scalp, I definitely feel the unevenness. Too late to return and will have to give it away.

Good comb, but breaks way too easily???
I got this comb to detangle my 3c low porosity hair. First the handle broke off with the first use, then over time, nearly half of the teeth broke off... still does the job lol... would buy again though

DON'T buy if you have thick long, tangled hair
2 bristles broke on the first use and I even used it with conditioner in the shower. I tried it on dry hair later with less tangled hair and it still got stuck and hurt my head to brush it through.

Don't buy!
I’ve had this brush for less than a month and it already broke! Mind you, I have thin hair as well! Not durable at all, I don’t recommend. If it didn’t work for me I couldn’t imagine it working for someone with medium-thick hair!

I purchased the peach color it really is sturdy & combs right through hair without breaking it. I also use it in the shower to distribute my conditioner throughout my hair while detangling.

Almost perfect
This comb is the only comb I ever use! I even use this comb more than my wet brush, however first time I dropped it, the top part broke off, so still usable, but I'm bummed. It was also dropped on wood flooring, not linoleum which really caught me by surprise. But other than that, this is the best comb I have used, it detangles wonderfully and doesn't hurt.

I purchased the grey “Go Green” comb and love it! I thought having a second one would be fabulous seeing that my daughter steals it all the time. I decided to get the orange “coconut infused” one. The first time I used it, I accidentally dropped it on the floor. Some of the teeth broke off. I thought I could still use it, wrong, next use, more broke off. Finally, third use and more teeth and now the handle broke off. Total junk and super disappointing!!!!

i’m glad i decided to check out the reviews randomly. i bought this comb a couple of months ago and the other day it broke. this is after multiple uses. now i see others have had the same experience as well. i should’ve checked the target reviews instead of amazon reviews. 🙃

Works but broke
Less hair damage when I used this comb. Too bad it broke already- minus one star for weakness. My hair is fine and short, easy to manage hair. But I’d rebuy and replace it because it’s one of the better combs.

A Must Have
I tossed this into my cart during a Target run and didn't think much about what I selected. But I used this and holy wow! First off, I've never used a wet brush before, and this literally glided through my hair so easily and hardly pulled any hair out. Impressed already! Then, my hair air dried into beautifully soft waves and was less frizzy than usual. Side note - I picked up the peach colored version that is infused with coconut oil. Design is cute too!
