Franklin Sports 4'x3' Blackhawk Pop Up Soccer Goal Set with Carry Bag: Fiberglass Frame

The top of the net and the back of the net ripped apart after four uses. I bought the nets for my son's U7 soccer team.

Misleading item description. They do not "pop up" like other goals will. They also do not "fold" for easy transportation. You need to almost completely disamble for easy transportation. Perhaps it's fine if you plan to leave it assembled at all times in the same spot, but not recommended if you plan on transporting or storing.

Hard to set up, but worth it 9/10

Difficult to assemble, so they're not really worth it. I bought these for quick assembly but they take at least 5 minutes before and after practice, which isn't worth it multiple times a week. They're also fairly small.

Compact & easy to store. Not as simple to assemble as outlined.

Like other reviewers, I am not pleased with this product. The printed directions are wrong…you need 5 poles and not 6. Otherwise it is literally impossible to assemble. Additionally, these are NOT pop up! You have to completely disassemble them to put them away. I’ll be returning these.

I wanted to write this to help my fellow people. The instructions that come with the goals say you need 6 rods and 5 connectors. This is not the case! I watched the assembly video on Franklin’s website and he says 5 rods and 4 connectors. Hallelujah! I was losing my mind because the corners would not fit. As soon as I removed a rod from the top and bottom, it was easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Ripped out of the box. Built the first one, no problems. Stitching on the first one was frayed, but I can deal with that. Starting to build the second one, I come across a gapping hole where the pole goes…. Terrible quality control and horrible materials…. Such a shame.

Terrible goal, careful with setting up, instruction not clear. When opening the goal the pole snaps out and could hit you. Returned right after one day. The pressure on the pole began ripping the goal material, so you can tell it won’t last

works fine. annoying to assemble one time but then IF you read the instructions - you twist the corners and the whole thing flattens into a circle that fits in the bag. if you couldn't read it might be difficult but they do indeed fold flat and you could literally throw it in the air and it will unfold itself for use.

Too hard to assemble and takes too long

My kids and I handled the poles briefly and all got fiber glass in our hands. Hurts. Cannot keep this model if it is causing all of us this much pain. Got it up finally and the kids thought it looked gorgeous but our hands all hurt like crazy from the fiber glass.

As I was assembling this net, one of the poles cracked which caused fiberglass to imbed in my hands.

Too many small parts took too long to put together

Goals? Yes. Pop-up? No. I coach youth soccer and bought these to use at practices because I thought they were the kind that were lightweight to tote around in my equipment bag and easily popped up for use as needed. Unfortunately, these are not actually pop-up goals. They assemble like a camping tent, they're heavy, and I have to set aside an extra 10 minutes to wrestle with them if I want to use them at practice. The product description says that it takes "seconds" to fold them up and put them away, but that just isn't true. When I go to slide the poles and connectors out of the sleeves, they come disconnected, and I have to fish pieces out and try not to lose any of them (which can be difficult since the connectors are clear plastic and sometimes hard to see when they fall on the grass). They're very nice once assembled, but I would not have purchased them had I known they were not, in fact, pop-up goals.

Hard to put together, and definitely not worth it to fold up & use the travel bag. One of the goals broke within the first week of playing. Don’t recommend.

These are not pop up goals and you must put in and pull out the rods every time you use it. It is not designed to fold flat as it says and assembly is required

the other reviews are accurate. these nets are not easy to assemble because the poles are a bit too long with the crappy connectors that don't fit the poles evenly. i was able to put the nets together but it required a great deal of force and frustration. there is no easy way to disassemble so plan to store them as is when not in use.

We needed a simple goal to setup for soccer practice and this was it! It was easy to set up, pack up in the car, and set up for practice.

I read the reviews about the difficulty assembling and chose to ignore them. The jokes on me. The plastic connectors the poles fit into are complete junk. If they were made correctly the poles would feed halfway through on each side and there would be no issue putting the nets together, but most of the poles don’t fit easily (or even with force) into the connectors. You can get your hammer and pliers ready for assembling these or look for a quality product instead.
