Blended for taste and unrestricted by tradition, The Prisoner Carneros Chardonnay is a full-bodied white wine that is balanced and rich on the palate. Crafted in the same iconic style as The Prisoner Red Blend, it is a bold and fruit-forward white wine made from Chardonnay, Viognier, and Gewürztraminer grapes harvested in the Carneros region of California. This bottle of white wine spent 10 months barrel aging in a combination of old and new French oak, contributing notes of butterscotch and vanilla and a full, smooth mouthfeel. This California wine bursts with bright aromas of vanilla, crème brûlée, and baked apple, each sip unveiling balanced acidity and notes of pineapple and toasted oak flavor. My husband and I love it, it is ideal for a romantic night, it has a fresh aroma and a persistence on the palate. ..It combines with a good baked fish dish and also for a cool afternoon.

This is a great Chardonnay. It’s full bodied and slightly fruit forward. Nice buttery notes. I really enjoy drinking this wine! Can’t go wrong with it.

A really nice drink

A really nice drink for a decent price. Not a super cheap bottle like I'm used to, but well worth the money! I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and my friends really enjoyed it for our get together. Would recommend it to those who want a slightly nicer wine.

I love Chardonnay and

I love Chardonnay and this was good. Not my favorite, but would reach for it again. I prefer an oakey taste and this wasn’t as full bodied as I would like, but it was still good.

One of my favorite Chardonnays , you can pair with food and or by itself on any occasion, there are some aromas like candy and pear , medium to full body with oak and fruit tastes but most of all I love the smooth finish ..cheers to some more Chardonnay
