This goes for all milk at Target. Any time I buy one, it goes bad within a couple of days even if it hasn’t reached the expiration date yet. I refuse to buy milk there anymore.

I believe that this whole milk is low temp pasteurized. As a result it needs to be fresher, and can be used in making cheeses, etc., unlike ultra pasteurized. You still have the benefit of not having raw milk, which can be more dangerous, without high temp pasteurization as in much of the milk you buy in a store.
