Fantastic base for mulled wine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the wine as a base for a winter mulled wine, and it was phenomenal! I usually find red wine bitter, but the Coppola wasn’t (and it wasn’t sweet). Very smooth texture and didn’t come with the flammable alcoholic scent some wines have. Beautiful packaging as well, so it would make a great gift

More tart than dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price point, I've definitely had better. We purchase wines within this price range and lean towards dry wines. This wine was more tart than dry, with some sweetness. It's worth finishing the bottle but not repurchasing for us personally.

Fancy and flavorful

Bold juicy wine!

You can taste a hint of the peppercorn finish and it went well with our steak dinner. The bottle is beautiful and I want to try the rest of their line!

Smooth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has a good balance of sweet and tart, if a bit fruity at first. What I really liked was that it didn’t have as much of that bitter bite I usually taste with California cabs. I found it easy to drink. A nice bottle to bring to a friend’s for dinner.

This Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely a pleasure to drink. It’s smooth, not too bitter and easy dinner wine. We love to have it paired with aged cheeses and pear. Definitely a favorite now!

An attractive and reasonably priced bottle, but not my favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coppola wines are a classic in my friend circle. If you're going to a dinner party, a picnic, or any other occasion you might bring a bottle of wine to, no one will be upset with a bottle of Coppola. That said, this particular bottle wasn't my favorite Coppola wine that I've purchased. Maybe I paired it with too light of a meal - I had it with a vegetable based pasta in a light olive oil sauce, and it might have been better served by being paired with a hearty red sauce, or some strong cheeses. I found it to be a bit tannin heavy, a little more tart than I would have liked for this evening. I could smell berry notes, but felt like they were a bit overpowered. All that said, if you want a reasonably priced bottle to bring to a (rich, heavier) meal, you could certainly do far worse than this! The bottle is attractive, and taste is subjective. This isn't a bottle I would go out of my way to purchase, but I would certainly drink it again without complaints if someone offered me a glass with dinner.

Good value for the price

The cab is very fruit forward on the nose, a lot of dark fruits like blackberries. The color is deep. If you don't like a lot of tannins or acidity, this bottle is for you. It's very easy to drink and a good value for the price.

Paired it with meat sauce pasta and a good salad with vinaigrette. Would have liked for it to have a bit more depth and body, but overall ok. Good looking bottle and a decent price point wine.

It had a wonderful aroma and great flavor notes. it wasn’t too dry and I ended up finishing the whole bottle in the night. It has a very nice price and is a great treat to bring as a gift for dinner.
