A: Yes this item is more of a dark washed red. The back of the item is more of a brighter red.

Pretty but smell
Arrived with a horrible smell. Not sure if it was materials or mold/mildew or chemical or a combo. I tried airing out and washed the covers but the smell remained so I returned.
