I use this harness for all my adventure cats and it’s great! It’s not restrictive like some other thicker harness and is more comfortable for new adventure cats. The simple design won’t add any unnecessary weight or heat. The bungee harness prevents them from pulling too hard and creates a secure boundary for them. I would recommend this harness for anyone interested in getting their cats outside! Just make sure to secure it properly and snugly so they don’t slip out and you might want to shorten or knot the harness in the length you want, the rubber stopper is a little too easy to undo and can loosen the harness as time goes on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my two cats really wants to explore the neighborhood outside our door, but our house is too close to the road, so it isn't safe to just let her go outside when she wants to. I thought it would be fun to take her out for short walks on a leash, so I decided to try the PetSafe Come With Me Kitty harness and bungee leash set. Both parts of this system are made to high-quality standards. The construction is solid with good stitching and no loose or hanging threads. It seems to have been designed not only with the cat's comfort in mind, but also to make it as simple as possible for the human guardian to help their cat into the harness. One of the first things I noticed about it is that the side straps that fit around your cat's shoulders are a different color than the rest of the harness. That makes it so much easier to find the right strap when you're putting this on your kitty, especially when it's a new endeavor and the cat is wriggling and squirming all over the place! Those side straps attach around the back, near the cat's shoulder blades, with buckles that are easy to open and close. All the straps are size-adjustable for your cat's comfort, and those adjustments are pretty simple. This harness comes with some very clear instructions and illustrations, so virtually anybody could use this thing. As easy as it is to use, most cats will need a period of adjustment to accept this harness and wear it without complaint. Unfortunately, my cat Paisley has not reached that stage yet. I have been trying to get her used to wearing the harness (no leash) indoors for a few minutes at a time, but she really resists it so far. That's okay, and I know it will take time (and she isn't a kitten), but I will continue to try to help her get used to it so that she can eventually enjoy the great outdoors! When she is finally ready to go out in her harness, of course, I will give her plenty of time to adjust to that, too. The leash that comes with this set will be a big help in that regard. It's a bungee-style leash, which means it is very stretchy, so Paisley can have the freedom to pull away a little, but still be safely tethered to me. It's just another gentle feature that helps a cat become more familiar with the concept of a leash without freaking her out. I really am looking forward to some neighborhood exploring with my girl, and I know that, once she is totally comfortable with her new harness and bungee leash set, she'll love it, too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wanting to take my cats outside but I know they will just run off, so this harness was perfect! It did not fit my bigger cat (18 pounds) but my smaller cat (11 pounds) was able to wear it. It took some getting used to but she is able to go on walks now.

The harness was tight and she got scared by a car and escaped. Run around the house and into the forest. Thankfully we were able to catch her. It was a traumatic experience for me and my cat. I don’t think I can ever take her out again

The leash is long enough and has give to it. I switch between 2 leashes one when I don't mind her having more room and then one that is shorter. I took her on a camping trip and it worked great. Stitched well, thick material, she didn't act weird with it on so I think she thought it was comfy. Overall happy!

It doesn’t seem to bother him and was easy to put on. I also think this would work if you had a small puppy. I would recommend this to anyway who has a cat that likes to be outdoors but you don’t want to risk the cat getting away.

I wanted to be able just to take her on the de k and not worry that she would run away. It definitely works well and I was not worried she would slip out of it. Once she gets used to the outside more, I think it will be great for her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received product for an honest review. This is size medium. I have three cats and the only cat willing to let me try it on is apparently a fat cat. It wasn’t even close to fitting him before he started to fight it too. If you want to try a leash for a cat, it’s going to take a lot of training! Also, definitely not for the big kitties. Otherwise, the product would work as described if you have a cooperating cat. It harnesses around their chest so it doesn’t pull on their neck.

She is a little on the hefty side and it fit her amazingly and it seemed very comfortable for her she never acted like it wasn’t. I actually did take her outside and I felt that it was very safe and I didn’t feel like it would break and I love that the leash is like a bungee! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, in impressed by the harnesses ability to fit my 15lb cat just as nicely as it fit our teeny kitten. Quick and easy adjustment makes fitting this to your kitty super easy. This was Church’s (grey cat) first time outside so he was a bit skittish but the elastic bungee of the leash gave him the comfort to run a bit without too much tension. Both cats adjusted fairly well to the harness, even if Church didn’t love his outdoor adventure as much.
