Allow A LOT of time to build - check all parts before you start!
Would recommend but assembly was time consuming, some parts were damaged and a few screws missing. My kids love this kitchen. But beware, one structural piece was damaged (fortunately it's not too noticeable based on location) and we were missing some screws which we only realized as we were building. We fortunately had alternate screws at home and made those work. Otherwise it would have been a disaster. We might have addressed the damaged part and missing screws with the manufacturer, but it was Christmas Eve night and Santa needed to deliver this kitchen! The kids could see the damage and we told them Santa must have had turbulence. Seriously though, we shouldn't have had to accept it in that state. Other than those defects and the enormous amount of time to build, I would still recommend. They absolutely love the ice maker. And the storage is great for all of the pretend food to keep things tidy. This would have had 4 stars if the damage/screw issue didn't exist. And 5 stars if the instructions were a bit better and build was shorter. Knocked off a star on quality as well though if all pieces are there and not damaged, I'd rate quality a 5 for its price.

Terrible!! It’s not worth the money at all! The doors don’t open all the way and when you put it together some of the pieces go on crooked . It is beyond dumb and a waste. My husband put it together for our fighter for Christmas and it was a complete waste of money but can’t do nothing about it now . Absolutely ridiculous

Not What's Pictured. Very Difficult to Assemble
This was super upsetting. It was purchased as a birthday gift for my 3 year old. The color isn't even remotely accurate. We received a color that resembles 50s teal with ugly grey subway tile instead of the advertised Sage Green with White Herringbone. Color aside, assembly was atrocious. As someone who's assembled half a dozen Kidkraft kitchens, this one was a HUGE pain in comparison. It took approximately 3 hours, which is insane for how small it is. My 6 year old plays sitting on the ground or on her knees because it's so tiny. The counter is at my 2 year olds waist. who wants a play kitchen they're going to grow out of quickly? Such a disappointment.

Absolutely Love it
This kitchen is absolutely beautiful. It is very modern and I love the gold features. Putting it together was definitely a headache because I’m not good at putting things together, but it was a two person task and we got it together and probably 2 1/2 hours on Christmas Eve. The directions were pretty straight forward. The kids absolutely love it. My five year old is the perfect size for her (even though I hoped it would be a lot bigger. There’s a refrigerator and oven and places to store the food. Definitely a great buy. 8 months later and it’s still extremely sturdy.

This kitchen is super cute and fun for my 3 & 5 year olds! It took me about 3 hours to put it together by myself but the instructions were great. The painted pieces have a good sealant on them, not easily scratched and all pieces were included (with extra hardware).

Was hesitant because of the mixed reviews and complaints about the kitchen being too small (which it IS small) but honestly its perfect for my 2 year old. My 4 and 6 year old can still play with her and if she gets bigger I will probably just size up. The modern finish is adorable and I also didn’t want something that needed batteries so it is perfect for her size now. As for assembly it does take long. I built it with my sister and my brother in law sort of helped but instructions were very clear I think we took about 2 hours.

Installing this with the tiny screws was definitely a hassle. I bought it as a Christmas present for my kids, but after just a few weeks of use, the bowls and utensils started rusting—not safe for kids. Additionally, the doors are hard to open and require a lot of force. Overall, I’m disappointed with the quality.
