Too heavy for newborn, too boring for infant

I bought the unpainted version before my baby was born, and now after nearly 13 months of unsuccessfully trying to get her to play with this, I'm giving it away. You can absolutely find a better use for $22.

Chipped Paint, no thanks.

Cute and looks very fun, but it arrived with a lot chips in the paint, and I will be returning. I’m pretty disappointed - I don’t want to give something with chippy paint to my 6 month old.

Great for Kids and Adults too

When my teenaged daughter needs to calm down or focus, she uses her Baby Beads as she would a fidget toy. I also use them when experiencing writers block. Well made, lasted 12 years!

I actually didn’t understand why these beads were so popular, but once my grandson received them he loves them!! They are easy to grab, move, make noise with and appear to taste pretty good too!!

My baby nephew loves these baby beads

I bought these for my three month old nephew and his Mom says he loves to look at the different colors of the beads. It is a beautifully made toy and I would highly recommend it

Meh...

After reading such positive reviews, I bought this for my baby for Christmas, now 8 months old and with teeth currently coming through, he still isn't interested in this toy and neither is my 2-year-old. As with their other products, this one is very well made and interesting to me. I'm sure other babies really do love it. Maybe one day mine will too.

Not just a baby toy

I think this thing is neat, every adult who sees it things it's neat. You can wear it like a MOMA bracelet when you don't have another hand. It looks neat. But, baby is 5 months, pretty strong, and it's a little too heavy for her right now. Plus she's at the age where she wants to bang every toy against all surfaces and swing it over her head, so it's just as well that she can't fully pick it up. I predict it will be a favorite toy when she's toddler or preschool age, and we can use it to talk about colors and gradients of color (light blue, dark blue, etc).

Awesome toy for all ages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toy as a baby gift with my first. It makes a fun clacking sound when played with that she would pay attention to even when she was too small to physically play with it herself. She loved the colours and the way it moved. She is now four and her baby brother also loves this toy. I saved very few baby toys between kids because so few hold their attention. This toy, however, I have carried in my diaper bag for four years. It’s also very relaxing to absentmindedly play with as an adult!
