Most comfortable and durable shoe
I find these shoes to be an excellent fit and extremely comfortable. I have been buying these shoes for over 10 years. The last extremely well. I do a lot of walking and tend to wear them out on the soles and heels. I do get about 18-24 months out of them. I will continue to buy.

Fail
Unconfortable from the start and lasted about 4-5 months before the plastic layering suport between the leather starting stabbing my foot. The bottoms are not rubber but instead a dense foam that wears away quickly and has poor slip resistance. The outer leather has a weird texture with wax or oil applied to it that leaves a dull finish and attracts dust to it. I dont normally leave reviews but the purchase of these shoes stung me.

Casual Comfort
I love these shoes. I have a decade old brown pair and a new black pair. The new ones leather seems to be not nearly as nice, but after a few shines it is starting to look nicer. Super comfy fit. The soles are OK, but the cobbler put on a super light sole after the sole wore out on my brown pair. Can hardly wait to do the same on my black ones. (It'll take years to wear the stock sole out though.) They aren't really Oxfords though, because the quarters are sewn onto the vamp, not visa versa. I'd call them Derbys. Regardless, I love them. My go-to casual shoes.

They definitely are waterproof
This is probably my fourth or fifth pair because they do keep my feet dry. My only complaint is the soles wear down very fast. Can't you put a better sole on these shoes?

great for roofing
I've had these shoes for 15 years and never wore them because they were too narrow. Only wore them when it was wet and rainy and icy since they ARE WATERPROOF and the rubber sole grips ice! They have since stretched out. Now days I use them for roofing work! They have a real rubber sole which grabs rooting materials like cleats, AND the square heel helps to lock onto scaffold bars when climbing scaffold unlike tennis shoes which do NOT have a sharp transition to the heel. Going to buy a new pair today but this time i'll get the wide size!

Reason for purchace.
I'll not share a photo but I will say that this is the second pair for me. The reason being they are so comfortable and provide me with no leg or hip ache. I couldn't ask for any thing better. They look nice and ware well also.
