Finished product very nice.
You will need an electric screwdriver driver or drill to assemble. Assemble time accurate with drill . Impossible to hand screw together.Very sturdy and glass shelves fit nicely. Will use to hold cut glass collection.

Sauder for the win! This bookshelf is beautiful. The gold finish is a rich satin finish so it's not shiny/cheap looking. I use it for closet storage. The piece was packaged with every possible protection and well thought out. There are many reviews on how difficult the assembly was. This is not true. ASSEMBLY WAS EASY. Read the directions and use the allen wrench provided and a **DRILL** (or good electric screw driver). Metal to metal connections need to be tight. The holes DO align, it's just almost impossible to use a handheld screw driver and fasten a metal screw into a metal opening with enough torque to get the job done. I read the directions, laid my pieces out and with a DRILL assembled this shelf with no issues at all. Assembly time was 30 minutes. I am a chubby 57 yo mom who carried the box upstairs and assembled by myself. Shelf is perfect, sturdy and pleasing to the eye. I bought at a big retailer and the price was amazing.

Hard to assemble
It’s pretty but it is very hard to put together. The screws would not screw in easily even though they felt aligned. It seemed like the holes on the shelves weren’t quite big enough for the screws. It took some effort to get it done. It also rocked back and forth so I had to put a shim under one of the legs and it doesn’t feel very sturdy overall.

I loved the look & the shelves are so pretty! I love everything about it, except putting it together. I had to have my son do it. The screws are so hard to align. I just wish they could make this a little easier.

I purchased this and it was missing apart and some stickers for part identification came off. Attractive but challenging
I was looking for something with an Asian vibe and this fit the bill. The screws to attach the shelves would not go all the way in with the Allen wrench so I did have to delicately use a power drill to get them flush. Its very stable and elegant with the glass shelves.

I've been wanting this style bookshelf for a while and I love it! It looks great in my office. I recommend using a drill instead of a Phillips Screwdriver for steps 3-6.

Very easy to assemble. My husband and I assembled it in one hour. My only concern is the holes don't align properly but we were able to get enlarge the holes a little. Very Nice shelf unit I would purchase again if it came in black.

Beautiful piece hard to assemble
Once this book case is assembled, it is absolutely gorgeous. However it seems that the slots for the screws might not always align correctly especially if you have successfully screwed in one side, it seems to offset the other. Thankfully, my husband is really amazing at building things so we had the proper tools to help us. Once we figured out the right amount of pressure to apply to make the screws fit, it took about an hour to assemble everything. The directions are great and it was very neatly packaged and labeled.

Difficult to assemble
My wife and I were excited to recieve this, however when trying to assemble, we found the screws do not fit properly and even with all our might, they would not screw in, so we had to resign and leave it in pieces for now. Suggestions?
