BEWARE!!! Color not as depicted!!!

The color of the lampbase appears to be a clear, light blue in the pictures. The lampbase in reality is a deep, dark purple-blue. I am returning it because it is not at all what I was expecting and will not fit in with the bright, light color scheme I am going for.
