    This was my go-to easy lunch. Then something happened and it was so watery and had barely any macaroni. I’m so happy I waited and tried it again - it’s back to the original! Plenty of pasta and a normal sauce consistency! Thank you, Stouffers, for listening to customers!

    Hearty and Yummy

    The Stouffer’s Macaroni and Beef outer carton picture seemed very appetizing, reminding me of Hamburger Helper, but without the cheese. When cooking in the microwave I smelled a delicious beefy fragrance. Once lifting the plastic cover and stirring I expected to more pieces of tomatoes than bites of meat. I was pleasantly surprised to not see this was the case, also the taste. The sauce was a little bit much, but I could understand if someone does over cook the meal some of the sauce would dissipate. The pasta was very tender and there was enough meat to satisfy me. I did crave for Hamburger Helper for dinner. So, I added some Gouda cheese. Besides the creaminess of the cheese, it absorbed some of the sauce yet still retaining the meaty tomato taste. The calories, even with the small amount of cheese met my calorie intake for one mea.

    No macaroni, too much watery sauce.

    The macaroni beef has always been my favorite of the Stouffer's frozen meals, but lately I'm noticing hardly any macaroni noodles whatsoever and an over abundance of watery sauce. Disappointing.

    Disappointing quality

    I am normally a big fan of Stouffers dishes, as I am a senior citizen and live alone, so I don't cook much. Most of your products are very good. However, the Macaroni and Beef leaves much to be desired. Its more sauce than anything else. I have to wonder why. After all, its not like pasta is an expensive item.
