Designed with her in mind our long-sleeve essential tee elevates a basic shirt to the next level. It's the small details that really count like the shorter hem and the sleeves which are less bulky than average. Not to mention the rib-knit collar that allows for extra stretch in an already soft and comfortable shirt. We've even improved the shaping for a less boxy feel by gently shaping the side seams. The 100% cotton material will make this shirt one of her favorites and you don't have to worry about shrinkage; it's already been pre-washed.

Kids’ measuring guide

Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

Terrible

Lands End has ruined this tee. I have many these from prior year that I love. the feminine fit was great. I bought some to replace ones that were worn out. Nowhere near the same. Sleeve to long and the fit is off. I am not sure what happened to the feminine fit. I am returning. If you are going to change it as much as you did it should have a different name so people do not think it is the same shirt.

Simple dark blue long sleeve shirt

Simple long sleeve shirt. The material is soft and the shirt is durable. This is my second time purchasing this shirt. Second time because my child needs a bigger size. It is easy to put on for just mornings and it is perfect for uniforms that require this color shirt. Overall it is a great buy. It is also a really nice shirt for layering as the weather gets colder.

Lousy necklines

Super disappointed. We’ve gotten these in the past, and this year the necklines are thick and rigid and puckered up as soon as I washed on cold and dried on low. These need to go back.

Decent quality, good price. Color was not a match

Nice simple long-sleeved top. My only concern was that the shade of pink is MUCH paler than it looked in the image. I was a little disappointed, but decided it would be okay to use in layered ensembles for warmth (like, under a colorful tee or inside a light jacket). That's what we do in North Florida winters, we "layer" our clothes in the morning and keep removing articles as the day progresses and the temperature rises.

Reliably soft

Bought this product in different colors and short sleeves too over the years. The large 10-12 fits nicely for my petite frame and the light blue is pretty. Super soft and washes and dries well.

Great Stitching, Wrong Color

Bought these a few months ago (uniform items take a while to arrive) and they used the wrong color thread. Since the school knows we can only order the PE uniform through Lands End and the color deviation was obviously LE's mistake, they are allowing my daughter to wear the shirt. This is the first time I've come across this issue.
