We purchased this for a parent with difficulty standing. It felt good in the store but we are disappointed after having used it for a month. The chair is too high off the ground leaving the legs of anyone shorter than 5’10” dangling in the air. The seat section is too flat (relative to the floor) allowing the person to slide forward out of the chair. The seat cushion is very firm also. There is inadequate lumbar support so an additional pillow is necessary. We are dissatisfied with this chair.
Quality, but not real comfortable.

Though I made the decision, I find it very firm requiring adjustment form my old chair. I like the smoothness of the motor for lift and return, but it is not overly comfortable. IT may take time.

Bought it for my father. It works great to get him up onto his feet. Looks good and wipes clean.

Had a problem with the first lift chair we purchased. While in the reclined position the footrest would not lower. Ashley Furniture is sending a replacement. This is probably better suited for a taller individual. My mother is 5'2 and this chair is a bit too tall for her. Something to keep in mind.

I say that because I'm only 5'1". Finally got my brown one, the store was good about that. I like the dual power movement. I have a little trouble hoisting my body back enough in the seat while reclining. I love how far down it relines. If I feel sleepy, I could easily fall asleep in it. I have 4 recliners in my couch & loveseat, but I no longer have the strength to make them recline. I needed the power this one has!

Great chair. Well made. Seat cones a bit stiff and needs some time to break in but otherwise excellent chair.

The bar at the base of the back makes it terribly uncomfortable to sleep in!

The chair slides very easily as our dad sits or gets up. It is on carpet. Poorly designed as this is a lift chair, which means it will likely be used by elderly or weakened persons. It should not slide like a skate on ice!

I purchased this chair for my mother. She is unable to sit in a regular recliner and unable to lay down in a bed due to an injury. She said this chair is very easy to use and allows her to sit and sleep comfortably, which has been a huge blessing! It also looks very nice.

I like the chair, nice looking good quality and very quiet. The only thing I think that could be better is the foot rest should come up higher.

My husband has weak legs due to a neurological disease and this chair was just what he needed to be more independent. The chair is very comfortable and the best feature is the independent motors for the footrest and the recline features. Many recliners put the footrest up while the back goes down. Sometimes you want your feet up but sitting mostly upright. That is a wonderful feature in this chair. There was damage on the right wing back but the warranty should take care of the repair.

the chair is soft which is nice, the material is also both soft to the touch and looks like leather but feels nicer. The problem is the feet do not go up very high, so you feel like you might slip out of the chair when reclining. Also it does not have good back support. It is a nice chair in many ways but just falls short.
Love it!

Haven't brought one yet. Because while looking for one I really need to know what the weight capacity is. The man I want it for is 80 years old and weighs over 400. None of them i have not seen it in the specs

Not enough variable adjustment settings. Foot support does not go high enough and chair does not recline far enough. From the living room out to the curb in less than 30 minutes.
