Reprinted from the Complete Works edition of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde, Vienna, 1927, this edition was edited by Eusebius Mandyczewski, whose Preface, providing notes on manuscript sources and variants, appears here both in the original German and in a new English translation.
Note heads are large and this is a very readable edition. Concert pianists, students, and teachers will find this excellent four-hand piano music, until now virtually unavailable in sheet music, a valuable addition to their playing library.
