DO NOT BUY, AMP GOES OUT DAYS AFTER WARRANTY PERIOD
Amp went out a week after the warranty period and they just tell you good luck. Tried going budget to see if it's worth it, it's not. Now I'm either buying a replacement amp or a whole new sub. This company has gone to trash over the last few years, I'm done with them.

Both failed
Ordered two of these September 2022, both died October 2025, within days of each other. Both sat stationary for 3 years. I've had subs from other companies that were moved multiple times, cross country, last 10 years or more. These are the first subs I've ever had fail. Monoprice does not provide any repair, nor replacement plate amps. Only a weak offer of a discount on a new purchase. I'm done with Monoprice.

Garbage
This product fails around 1.5 years of use and they will not sell replacement parts. Do not buy this. It will break.

Total Junk!
I purchased this subwoofer less than two years ago, and it has already quit working. If you want a sub from Monoprice, don't buy this model.

Don't waste your money
After 2.5 years of limited use, and when I say limited I mean maybe once a week for 2 hours max, the subwoofer no longer works as designed. All I get out of it is a loud popping noise every few seconds. It makes a great heavy end table now! It was AMAZING when it worked.

Defective product
I purchased a subwoofer, front center speaker, and two surround speakers. Two of the four speakers failed at 2.5 years. That's no coincidence. It suggests defective products. Now I'm out a half a grand cash for buying from a poor quality company. Don't repeat my mistake. Buy another brand.

Sounds great.
Awesome subwoofer. Using an input y adapter from single 75 ohm subwoofer cable increases the volume and so I back it down on its amp. Y adapter may also increase response efficiency.. I like its sound quality.

Did not meet expectations
I wanted to like this particular subwoofer for the cost and the incredible review Audiophile did on them. My subwoofer turned on, but with a 100w Mordaunt Short subwoofer to compare, the Monoprice was about 1/10th the volume. Was it broken? In my opinion, it was, but it turned on and that may qualify for a, "it works" when giving a reason back to Monoprice for an RMA.

Raw Power
If what you're looking for is RAW Bass on a budget, look no further. I figure for the price it's a win-win situation but eventually what I want to do Is pair this with an AVR that has a Subwoofer DSP to tune the performance and see if I can reign in the performance and if that goes well, I would go for a second unit.

Doesn't go as low as SVS but fills my space better
I was running Dayton 12's for the last few years, recently tried SVS PB1000 pros and while they can get much lower than these, I have a huge open floor plan room with 21 ft ceilings and they just didn't fill it. So I ordered one of these and I was impressed enough to order a second one. I know I'm missing some of that subterranean level but these fill that open space much more and can really feel it 18 ft away on the couch. Even better at 2 for half the price of one of the PB1000 pros

Simple old school ported sub.
I've had this in my living room for a couple months and it's great. I'm keeping it.

Love, Love, Love this speaker but it is so big.
Installed this the other day and can say this is so nice. Just make sure you have the room. I had to make this fit and pictures do not do any justices of how big this is. i am so happy with it and the sound woke up the neighbors watching Galaxy Vol. 3 at 3:30am haha. And nothing can touch this on the price. I hope it last. In picture it's behind the TV with an 8" sub on top. Also, two 10" on the end of each sofa.

Great Sub for the money
I bought this to fill in a hole in the bottom end of my sound system. It is not the best but it works fine for my application.

Good value but not the sharpest base.
Good value subwoofer for the price, but not the sharpest base especially at higher levels. It also definitely did not seem anywhere close in power to my 650 watt Infinity CSW-10. Unfortunately I had some issues with mine. The woofer was intermittent and would not always have an output, even out of auto. Did an RMA exchange that took weeks to get a replacement, mainly because FedEx was slow in the return shipment. Unfortunately received replacement by FedEx with hole kicked through both shipping boxes damaging speaker cone. Monoprice customer service was excellent and that, along with the value, is why I?m going to take my chances on a third try when sub is back in stock in March 2023.

Good value for the price.
It looked better in real life than in the picture. It sounds ok at medium range, but when it's turned up it's not as clear.

It's okay for the price..
First one I received it was DOA. The second one works but the standby power switch doesn't. I have to leave it on... not worth the hassle of doing a RMA. It is large and heavy. Sounds okay. But lacks that thick punch of a 15. Using it with an Onkyo 676 5.1.2 setup. There is not a LFE input but works okay otherwise.

Great for a a large room
This is a phenomenal value if you need to fill a large room with bass. I bought this to replace a busted 12" JBL. I use it in my two car garage, where I have a bike trainer setup. Hooking it up right out of the box wasn't very satisfying because of calibration issues. I then setup my AVR anew (it has room correction software) and the improvement was incredible. Note that this sub is very large. I have a Hsu VTF-15H in my home theater and this is every bit as large. But that sort of comes with the territory if you need to fill a big room. I was surprised at how well this sub compares agains the Hsu. It isn't quite as tight, especially when you're really cranking the sound. But the Hsu also costs more than 3X more. I don't listen to the Monoprice sub in a super critical environment so this was the perfect value purchase.
