Niacinamide (Vitamin B-3) is a form of niacin, a water soluble B-vitamin. It is a derivative of niacin that does not cause the "flush" normally associated with taking high doses of niacin. Niacinamide is readily converted into the bioactive forms of niacin, NAD+, NADH, NADP, and NADPH, which are vital cofactors in cellular energy production and are critical for the maintenance of DNA stability.*

I take one a day at breakfast and notice a difference in how my knees feel. When I stop taking it I don't feel as well.

Love this product!
I have tried several niacin supplements. This one I can take all at one time without having my body turn bright red, itching and creating a problem. I am sold on this one!

inaccurately described
The product label shown for this states "other ingredients" as only gelatin. Yet, when I got the botlle it states magnesium stearate as an ingredient. This is a substance I avoid, and will not use this.
