It is super cute for little kids. Overall, I wouldn’t buy it again because of the assembly. There are better quality play kitchens out there that will last your child much longer than I know this will last my 2yo. I was excited to get it but am disappointed with what I got. He will likely grow out of it in the next year and a half. Took about 2.5hrs to put together. Instructions weren’t entirely clear on which way the boards were meant to be assembled together so I put the main board upside down backwards halfway through and needed to disassemble and do it all over. Although the measurements are in the pictures the larger kids in the ad are deceiving and make it seem like an older kid would be able to fit on the chair. It is small and low to the ground. So taller kiddos are gonna be playing on a lower surface and will hardly fit on the seats. Only one piece of wood and two screws to hold up the main board supporting the child’s weight. The size of the spatula and ladle are also maybe 1/3 of the size in real life. An odd thing to exaggerate in the advertisement. Some of the wooden boards were missing the plastic piece that helps the screws stay in place.

I brought this for my two younger kids. It’s cute but don’t let it fool you. I received it with some screws missing but I tried to work with what I got, not sure why. The holes to put the screws in were so unaligned with the pieces that should go together. I cracked two areas just trying to realign it.Even with some help it was so difficult to built it. It took HOURS. I only truly tried to make it work for my little ones. Save your money and time.

Cute but smaller than expected
It is cute, but much smaller than expected. The suggested age group is 3-7 years old. My baby turns 2 in 4 months and fits VERY snug in the seat. She is a bit smaller than average for her age so I would recommend this for babies only.

This is the WORST item I have ever bought from Target. The customer service I experienced after was unacceptable, too. I ordered this for my niece and nephews for christmas. It took 4 hours to build. Within 10 minutes of play, the oven door COMPLETELY cracked off. I called Target. They would not replace it. My dad went to a LUMBER YARD to get a new piece of custom wood to fit the oven space. We painted it and reattached it. The next day, another door and the sink cracked off. I cannot believe it. I have been on hold with target for 45 minutes talking to 4 different people. All I want is a gift card for the value of the kitchen so I can buy a new, safer plastic one without nails and woodchips sticking out of it. Unbelieveable. Do not buy!! Save yourselves!!

CHOKING HAZARD
Only got this because all the Melissa and Doug ones were sold out. Choking hazard, one of the salt and peppers fell apart when we took it out of the box revealing a perfectly chokable sized dome shape. Set up was HORRIBLY designed. This is even more expensive than the other ones I wanted to go with and I don't understand how, it SUCKS

Only 27 inches wide
Measurements are incorrect. Although our product did not come damaged, it’s incredibly small compared to what it is scaled to look like in the pictures. The parlor side is so tiny, even my barely 2 year old who only weighs 25 pounds could not sit on the seats. Sure it would work well for stuffed animals. It shows 29.5 inches wide and it’s actually only slightly over 27 inches. It feels pretty durable and a much larger one would probably cost another hundred bucks, so that being said we decided not to return it. I added some photos for reference. I do not have a big foot either. Definitely not suitable for any children older than 2 just due to size.

Product arrived timely. Upon opening package, there was a huge chip out of the oven door, several knicks and scratches, as well as a broken piece used to screw top to base. Product was a bit smaller than it appeared in pictures but perfect size for my 2 year old. The cafe side is small for actual use, my 2 year old can barely fit at the table. Overall, I’m not overly impressed with the product for the price.
