The motorized repair process renews the protective layer on the surface of the disc, ensuring that the data is unaffected, but able to play smoothly once again. This solution can be used on the same disc multiple times without affecting the data, and the patented FlexiWheel can repair up to 25 discs._

The SkipDr system is designed to repair scratches on CDs, DVDs, and game discs like those for PlayStation and Xbox. Blu-ray discs have a different layer and are more sensative than DVD's. Because of this, it is possible that the SkipDr, might not be the best solution for Blu-ray discs.
