Mike Oldfield - Songs of Distant Earth (CD)

Oldfield follows his global hit Tubular Bells 2 with a new collection of soundscapes that upholds his reputation for sonic wizardry and cutting-edge technology. Inspired by sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke's novel of the same title, the CD version of the album is a "mixed-mode" disc that will allow anyone with a Macintosh and a CD-ROM drive to view a collection of video and computer generated images, including a video clip of the first single, "Let There Be Light."
