    Overall decent

    The fabric quality is pretty good. The M runs large on me, but it is so difficult to fit women as we come in such size mixes. The legs should be a little longer. The sewing seems to be good. I have not used yet so cannot comment. I did hand wash and hang dry and they did well .

    Thin, so works under tighter clothing

    Fit is fine, but the material is very thin compared to years ago. But apparently no one makes mid-weight or heavy weight silk underwear anymore. If you need more warmth, options are wool or synthetic. Would ONLY buy this on sale. Not worth the regular price. Also, oddly full of static cling, no matter what you do...

    The waist band is too wide

    There is one big flaw in the design of these silk pants and that is the waistband. It is very wide and rolls up. It just doesn't sit right. I have other silk pants with a normal elastic waist and it is a much better fit and feel. I would not recommend these pants.

    Real silk is hard to find these days

    I wanted to give 3.5 starts but don't know how. I agree with those who say these need a re-design, as the very thick waistband comes up way too high (can be folded down). I miss Winter Silks, where multiple waist styles were available, and all styles had cuffs.That said, these fit true to size and they're silk, which is exactly what I need and it's gotten hard to find! I don't find they ride up, as some suggest. I where mine over my liner socks and under my wool socks, and they keep my legs warm w/out adding bulk. Does the job.

    Comfortable, warm, and fit great!

    I really appreciate these silk pants. They are comfortable and just the right amount warmth under sweatpants or jeans when I'm working or playing outdoors. I especially like the really wide waist band, which holds them up very well without binding.

    Shrank when washed

    I like the silk but they shrank when I washed them (cold water, air dry). Now they're too short and a little snug in the lower leg and knee. Don't love 'em.

    Bought one size up, fits great

    After several other comments, I bought a size larger than my normal. I weigh 160 lbs, 5’6 in, Large worked great. It’s a thin enough material that it doesn’t change my normal pant fit, but added the extra warmth I needed!

    down size

    I returned Plus is the fabrics nice. I ordered the S as I'm a size 10 but they are lose and have no elastane , so i think will end up baggy. The waistband elastic felt overly bulky for such fine fabric.

    VERY wide, bulky waist band!

    Why would anyone design a thin undergarment with a 2-3/8" wide waist band, that's also fabric covered and adds even more thickness at the waist where minimal bulk is desired?! Returning it. Also, wanted black but had to order ivory instead because LE was out of black in my size.

    Does not feel like silk, seems not secured well

    I have two pairs of these from 2004 and thought I'd get another pair while they're on sale. The quality difference is shocking. The newest pair feel like acrylic and are not nearly as well constructed as my older pair. Returning these and looking for a higher quality manufacturer.

    These are the best silk long base layer bottoms. They are like a second layer of skin and not bulky at all. They block the wind from making your legs cold. I plan on purchasing more.

    Bad fit unfortunately

    Lightweight packs small. I am 5’6” I usually wear Landsend 14 - 16. the bottoms were baggy round my tummy, thighs and knees and too short, I am not thin . I thought this would be extremely uncomfortable under another garment so sent them back though I have kept the matching top.

    Women's Silk Leggings

    My girlfriend bought these leggings but she never liked them because of the material. She asked if I wanted to try them on even though they are women's apparel. I immediately fell in love with how they fit and the silky smooth feel on my l legs. I could live in these women's leggings these are the best pants I have ever owned. I louge in, running errands and morning walks.

    Why is the women's version poorer quality?

    I started purchasing these silk base layers when they were available with the cuffs. Since then, the quality of the material and construction has declined significantly. Like other reviewers, I experienced the pants and sleeves of the new designs ridding up. I was disappointed to see that the men's versions are still available with the cuffs. That disparity is the reason I won't be purchasing again.
