The Ginger People Super Strength Gin-Gins Strong Ginger Candy - Case of 24/1.1 oz

These are the worst ginger candy I've tasted. The texture is not "caramel like". It's more like a hard chewy candy that is extremely old and way past its best by date. When you leave it in your mouth, it doesn't soften much; only a little and then becomes grainy and gritty. There's not much taste in the beginning. No flavor until you chew on it and then you get a little bit of ginger flavor, but hardly any. You get more ginger spice from the orginal version than these and these are supposed to have a lot more ginger than the orginal. Doesn't taste like it does. I thought I got a bad batch even though the best by date was a year away. I contacted the company and found out that that's how the taste and texture is supposed to be. Also the best by date is shorter than the originals. These only are one year away, but the originals are two years away. Lastly the color is an odd pale pasty old looking off white/cream color. Not appealing but I could deal with that if the texture and taste was good.

I rely on Gin-Gins to keep me energized throughout the day. The super strength ginger flavor is a game-changer for my digestion and overall well-being. Plus, the convenient packaging makes it easy to grab on the go. Highly recommend!
