The box claims that these are chewy, but let me warn you, they are chalky and kind of crumbly. Not a nice moist chewy consistency. I can't even get the kids to eat them. I was hopeful they would be good as a treat in a school lunch, but looks like they are going in the trash. Such a bummer.

The worst cookie ever!
To start they look NOTHING like the picture. They are a gross grey mortar color vs the appealing brown of the cookies on the package. Then there is the flavor. It is a artificial cloying taste that immediately leaves you longing for a drink. No chocolate taste to be found! When you bite into them it is like biting into dust and clay at the same time I did not know that was possible! Horrible!

Strange texture
These were not as I was expecting. The flavor was different than a regular Chips Ahoy. The texture and flavor was similar to a cookie dough protein bar. It was dry and crumbly rather than soft and chewy. I'll be finishing mine just cause I can convince myself they taste like a protein bar and don't want them to go to waste. I will not be buying again unfortunately.
