Description

About the Book

The fate of the world is written in the stars, but are we capable of deciphering it? Paracelsus' words resonate through time like an echo of warning and revelation. In Prophecies of Paracelsus, the enigmatic Renaissance physician and alchemist offers us a vision of the future of humanity, the celestial signs, and the divine balance that governs existence. With a mixture of astrology, philosophy, and mysticism, this text challenges us to look beyond the obvious and discover the secrets hidden in the heavens above and nature below. Paracelsus speaks to us of unity as the key to world harmony, denouncing human greed and pride as the causes of our own ruin. In his words, we find both a warning and a hope: the destiny of humanity depends on its ability to recognize the signs and return to the primordial essence.

About the Author

Paracelsus (1493-1541), born Theophrastus Philippus Aureolus Bombastus von Hohenheim, was a Swiss physician, alchemist, and philosopher. He revolutionized medicine in his time by rejecting the theories of Galen and Avicenna and promoting the use of chemicals and minerals in treatments. He traveled throughout Europe in search of knowledge, studying with healers and scientists. An advocate of medical astrology, he believed in the connection between the macrocosm and the microcosm. His writings cover alchemy, medicine, and prophecies. He was a controversial figure, criticized by his contemporaries, but influential in the evolution of medical science. He died in Salzburg in 1541.
