Rachel Eliza Griffiths (1978, Washington D.C) es poeta, artista visual y novelista. Ha recibido el Hurston/Wright Foundation Legacy Award y el Paterson Poetry Prize, y fue finalista del NAACP Image Award. Griffiths ha sido becada por la Fundación Cave Canem, Kimbilio, el Centro de Bellas Artes de Provincetown, la Fundación Robert Rauschenberg y Yaddo. Su obra ha aparecido en The New York Times, The New Yorker y Tin House, entre otras publicaciones. Promesa es su primera novela.
