Poor delivery experience / broken item

Extremely disappointed with the delivery company Target has contracted to deliver their larger furniture items. The delivery was supposed to be left at the “front door” yet it was left lying in the driveway. The box was extremely damaged upon arrival and as soon as we opened the box we saw the item was broken. It has been a huge headache dealing with Target’s outsourced customer service team (strong language barrier, miscommunication, working from home with dogs barking in the background and poor reception). We are unable to get a replacement as the item is now sold out. So frustrating.

Please be advised that this cabinet could be delivered broken as it was with us this week. Upon receipt of the item and opening it, it was discovered that a piece of cardboard had been taped over the package to conceal a broken box and broken piece of furniture– it made a giant mess of broken wood and styrofoam. It has taken me hours chatting with Target customer service to try to get this mess returned and a refund processed— I am still waiting for both. It is a huge, heavy and unsafe mess :(

Not worth the price. Chips easily and is obviously some Sauder cabinet made to look “luxurious”. Waaaay overpriced. Come on Target!!!

Please don’t purchase this. The style is so great. But once we received it and put it all together we noticed a lot of little chip marks. And scratches on the glass which is tempered glass. It’s so cheaply made I can’t believe we paid over $600 for it. I couldn’t find anything long enough to fit our tv so we’re stuck with it. It’s just so freaking cheaply made. It’s really with half the asking price. Disappointed. Going to try to find a black furniture marker to fix some of the marks. Instead of enjoying a brand new undamaged entertainment center. When u called targets 3 party customer service said we’d have to mail it back get a refund and repurchase a brand new if we wanted to replace it.
