NOW Psyllium Husk Powder/Essential & Priced Right!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used psyllium capsules for many years, as an essential daily supplement, but have also recently purchased the powder form (from NOW), as a change to my routine. I am very satisfied with it's effectiveness, the versatility, and ease of use in my daily diet, and the price is very satisfactory, as well.

NOT GLUTEN FREE
Misleading product if you're allergic to gluten or have Celiacs disease. The package says "gluten free" but the product is labeled as "processed in a facility that also processes wheat products". That means it has potentially been contaminated. I've never seen a label with a clear allergy warning listed as gluten free. That's very dangerous, as psyllium husk powder is sometimes used as a gluten protein substitute in GF bread baking. Also it's listed as non-GMO. No GMO version of psyllium husk exists. This brand clearly likes misleading labels and marketing. Zero stars if I could.

Bigger size, better quality and better price.
The 24 ounce bag is twice the weight, of the 12-ounce plastic bottle, but the cost per ounce is less. The Now brand quality of psyllium husk powder works better, than the other brands. Good value for the money.

Don't like the fine psyllium quality are
Earlier I had attempted to order from you folks the courser now psyllium powder which is what I use everyday and I had it in my cart and by the time I get back you were out of it and so I got this stuff and it's not the same as it doesn't mix well it's so fine that it clumps up when I try to stir It. so not my preference and I'll just keep it as a backup at this point. Hopefully it will last a long time but I do have an issue here with grain moths and I found out that they're not terribly picky that they will go after the psyllium so I've had to throw away a fair amount of psyllium at this point so I double bag it and I put it in the freezer if I can.

Fine Psyllium
I like this very fine form of psyllium but it's taking some adjustment to learn how to use it because it's so fine. I believe taking it WITH a liquid is the most important thing... whereas putting it in cereal or yogurt does not seem to work well.

It’s worth a try, and a little less expensive
Finer than Konsyl, I have used Konsyl for years. This works as well if not better. I just started using this product. So far I’m pleased.
