Q: How do you remove these from your tub when you no longer need them? Do they easily peel off even if you've had them for a year or two in place?

A: Hi JZV, please see the following tips for removing the treads: Use a sturdy flat material like a gift card, (or similar tool) to lift an edge of the tread – make sure you are lifting the adhesive layer too, not just the texture layer. Once you have part of the tread edge lifted, grab the edge with a pair of pliers to get a good grip. Hold tight and pull up and away from the tub surface. This should allow you to lift the whole tread in one piece, without leaving any adhesive residue. We hope these tips are helpful. These are more of a hard plastic than I thought they were going to be. They are intended to stick (like a sticker) to the bottom of your tub, but don’t. I have 1 out of the 6 that are still clinging on after just 2-3 uses.

I was able to get these to stick fine (one did need longer than 24 hours before it really adhered) by cleaning the tub and wiping it with rubbing alcohol before applying. I was a little nervous after reading the review that said that the grippy surface scratched her little one’s skin but I haven’t found that to be an issue. My only complaint about the product is that 6 disks don’t cover enough surface of the tub to be effective and you need double the amount (obviously at double the price) to really do the job.

Just ordered and installed my second set. The first lasted three years and had to be replaced because they started to mildew around the edges - never became unstuck. Work great on my vintage tub that has a smooth bottom and i like that i don’t have to fuss with a rubber mat.

These have been installed for over a year and they are doing great! I did follow the installation instructions carefully (clean surface, wipe with rubbing alcohol) and they haven't peeled up at all. I don't find them uncomfortable to stand on and the toddler sits on them with no complaints. Of course if you hit wrong where they aren't there is always a risk of slipping still, as with any treads. They are easy to clean and I don't feel that they get dirty easily/quickly compared to the rest of the tub, I just take a brush around them occasionally. In short, they serve their purpose well without any extra effort, and look nice too.

They unfortunately yellowed very quickly, were hard to get off the tub, and were not reusable. They even pulled off some of the paint of the tub.

So cute, but didn’t stick in my 1970’s metal tub. I followed all the directions and even waited 10 hours longer to dry than required. They fell off within 2 weeks.

Works as they should. My 18 months definitely has an easier time during bath since we've installed these. I cleaned with water and rubbing alcohol, let it dry completely, put these on and left them 24 hours. I haven't had any issues with these coming off yet. I did knock off one star because the finish on couple of them weren't great but not bad enough to warrant a return. My daughter also has fun with the bright colors so I would recommend this.

These stuck in our tub for a year and a half before I removed them to replace them. I only replaced them because after a year and a half, they began to get moldy. No issues with them and they stuck really well for us!
