It’s got a light satin finish over it and was honestly excited to use it but it ended up not fitting inside my cabinets. Came with all necessary hardware to complete and would make a really nice extension on the cabinet but you need to have the right fitting cabinet for it. Will think of some other way to use this maybe a plant box. It’s not too heavy but is made with quality materials. If you have a large deep two side cabinet this would be perfect for a cookware cabinet or a snack cabinet.
