Spurred on by having a surprisingly positive experience with the pumpkin scones, I decided to try these when I couldn't find the scones. These are pretty and cake-like. They have a nice softness to them, though a little too on the dry side for my taste. They are okay and I might get them again. They would look great at a gathering such as a brunch with other fall items.
