DISSAPOINTED NOT PURDY QUALITY
Man this brush sheds more than my GREAT PYRENEES dogs, I spent as much time picking the hairs out of my solid mahogany wood bedroom doors as I did painting the entire room. This is Terrible, Not what I am used to when using PURDY

Once broken in this is an excellent brush
Several buyers complained of bristle loss. Once the brush is broken in using real paint, followed up with brush cleaner and use of a brush comb, this is not a problem. Paint flows beautifully from this exceptionally soft brush.

skill required
I've been painting for 20 years, these brushes require skill to use. This is not your ordinary water base paint brush. These are great for a nice oil finish, once the break in, they only get better.

Sheds so much
I've been a painter for 15 years and I've almost always used purdy brushes in that time. I picked up this brush for a bar top I was finishing in hope this was the brush for the job. Cut to the chase bought one it shed right as it hit the product. Against my better judgement I went and bought another from a different place. Same results. I love the xl, clear cut elite, and chinex brushes but this ox hair for the price I paid twice was not worth it. Lesson learned still love the company tho!!

Great brush
I love the way this brush performs. I do not like the tips of bristles curling up after using them just one day.
