Not The Brush it Once Was.

Purdy use to make the best brushes hands down. Unfortunately the quality has declined over the last 10 years or so, and i find that the bristle density is far thinner and that, when new, there are always bristles shedding off for the first few uses. Overall, there are finer quality brushes out there for the pro that appreciates the best. Brand name only goes as far as the quality maintained in producing consistent product.

I have used these brushes for as long as they have existed. Big brush in a small package. They last as long as any of the "pro-extra" series brushes do. I don't have a single bad thing to say about these brushes.
