[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this brush to use with the valspar paint, I really like Purdy paint brushes, this one was the perfect size and angle for painting trim with. The bristles were soft, they didn’t shed like some brands do, and I was able to wash it so it can be used again! Typically this is my go to brand because the shape of the handle, weight of the brush, and durability.

The paint needed two coats because it was light but the brush covered beautifully. Used it twice with semi gloss paint and it still looks new. Can’t comment on use with stain. Would definitely buy this brand and use it again!

I do a lot of painting with arts/crafts and DIY so I know a good paintbrush when I see one and this is it. Soft and firmly mounted bristles that were easy to paint and edge with alike without leaving bristles behind. Smooth wooden handle, great weight for control without causing fatigue. All around, just a reliable and lasting brush. Easy to clean and store for the next job!
