I'm a flight attendant so this works really great in my small turn bag, but I wish it had a better clamp, it doesn't smash down on my hair quite enough and I have to go over it many many times. But it still works fine for me. I wish I could adjust the temperature but I really have no qualms. Does the job!

This little flat iron does the trick for short hair. I give it a 5 for that. I gave it a four for the following reasons: There are no temperature settings and the off/on switch is not in a good place (inside the device)!Other than that, it is a nice flat iron!

I have always had straight hair. None straight. Stick strait. Unbendable, uncurlable!STRAIGHT. But suddenly I have pieces that curl 🤨🙄 and this weird wave in the back. I don't hate it, but it's weird.Since I have relatively short, choppy hair, I figured I needed a smaller iron. This one is pretty small. It gets really hot. There's no temp control. There's no lock. It scares me a little.But it straightens what needs to be straightened. At least for a while.But I think that's about me not knowing what I'm doing, not the iron.Anyway, yeah. It was super hot but it started cooling down the more I used it I've only ever used it on my wigs at the start it was hot enough to burn the hair but then it didn't but it only burned on synthetic not real hair

I needed a 1/2" flat iron to straighten my thick bangs and smooth parts of my short haircut. This flat iron does the job perfectly. It is a mini flat iron, but it seems solid. The plates glide over my hair and straighten my bangs in one pass. I can get close to my scalp without feeling any hear. There is no temperature control, but what this flat iron heats to seems perfect. Very happy I bought this.

This little beauty works! I have thick curly hair and was able to manage it on a 2 1/2 week trip to Europe. I like how it has an on and off switch, locks and comes with a heat resistant glove (I used it to store so I wouldn't melt things in my suitcase). My only suggestion would be to have the heat plates wider, but all the travel straighteners I found were this size of smaller. Dual voltage was important to me and this baby had it. It didn't fry my hair and stayed consistently hot. If I had to guess, I would say it stayed around 350 degrees based on my normal straightener. If you need a small straightener for trips/travel, this will do the trick and not burn a hole in your wallet!

This is the first flat iron that I have ever owned and have been using this for about a month.AS FOR THE LOCK: There wasn't any mention in the instructions but near where the cord extends from the base of the iron, there is a small notch where you see a line close to the screw. Place your thumbnail on each side and pull down, you should be able to "open" the iron.It is quite small but I don't need a larger size. It heats up really quickly and stays the constant temperature (after ~2 min). After I shut it off and unplug it, sometimes I want to go over a section with the "leftover heat" and notice that it also cools down pretty quickly (unplugged after ~2-3 min). My hair is very thick so I have to work with it in small sections but I haven't experienced any damage to my hair (I am also using Tresemme heat protector). I will update in case anything happens.

I have used it for a week, and it indeed works very well and I really love the design of this straightener. First, it heats very fast in 30 seconds. Besides, it has 360-degree swivel cord to avoid tangle while straightening my hair. Third, the design of the safety lock makes it very safe to carry out for traveling.
