Bought when on sale, wanted to switch to titanium plates after doing low end and high end ceramic straighteners (conair and ghd) that would take me forever and left feeling dissatisfied it wasn’t straight enough after spending so much time. My hair is very long, I have a lot of it, and it’s fine. I can do my hair in about 6 minutes with this guy and it lasts. Such a time saver. It looks nice too. I’ve since started buying more KE products because I like this item so much.

This is the worst straightener I've ever purchased. My cheap Remmington one worked way better. I have naturally curly hair and this doesn't even get the kinks out of it, even though it says it gets up to 440....I don't believe it. You also have to squeeze down to get the plates to line up and actually straighten the hair. I bought this one specifically thinking I could do curls with it to save time....no. The outside is like this weird material and feels weird/pulls your hair. Do not waste your money.

I absolutely loved this purchase it had great heat settings and was perfect for adding some wave in my hair. I loved it so much I got my mom to get the same one. However it just stopped working within a month! I talked to my mom to complain and hers had broken within the same time window! Won’t be buying again even though it was in the return window and target was more than helpful with the return.

Fantastic and Beautiful
Love this flat iron! Heats up fast, and gives a smooth silky finish to my hair. Love the auto shut off feature as well. Not to mention how pretty the white and gold looks! Highly recommended! My first Kristen Ess hair tool, and I’m definitely impressed! Even better that I had a $10 coupon!

Great straightener at this price point
This is my favorite brand hair straightener. I always buy a new one when it goes on sale. I’ve found that after 6 months or so (using it 4-6x/week) it starts turning off by itself which can sometimes be caused by product build-up on the plates. I have thick, curly hair and this works great for me. These go on sale 3ish times a year - I highly recommend it.

Disappointed
Agree with other one star reviews. Works great to straighten but shuts off after one or two passes. Super annoying especially for the cost. Love their products but very disappointed in this.

I’ve really liked this straightener. It heats up quickly and works well on my thick hair. I love the long cord. I am disappointed though in the automatic turn off time. I’ll be 15mins into styling my hair and it turns off. Frustrating to have to keep turning it back on. Other than that, I’m happy with it.
