I had my two 16 year old toothless dogs, one is a chihuahua and one is a miniature schnauzer on the wet version of this. My chi had a rough time getting it out of the bowl, my schnauzer had no problems, but they both loved it. I decided to buy the dry version to get all three of my small dogs (2 mini schnauzers & the chi) on this. I soak the dry for the older ones and top it with a little of the wet and it's a hit. They both eat every bite. My younger min schnauzer (4 yrs) eats it as well with a little of the wet as topping. What I Iove is what it's done for my older schnauzer's BMs. Went from runny and loose to nice and formed. She is 16 and gets what she wants lol. So happy all 3 of them like it.

My dog had a lot of allergy issues we tried many brands before Vet recommended putting her in a Grain free diet, we did for a while but grain free is usually a little pricier than regular dog food. Well I ran across this and saw that it had the same ingredients that her grain free food had so I gave it a shot and she responded so well she hasn’t had any allergies breakouts or no throwing up her food. I’m so glad I found it, specially I love the price.

I have always feed my dogs beneful dry dog food. They do very well on it but ,my concern is the artificial coloring in the food. My dog has skin issues so I give him the salmon one. I like natural ingredients and this is a unnecessary add ingredient. My dog dose not care about the color it only makes it look good to us humans. If it is all brown my dog will still eat it.

After spending so much money on Purina Pro Plan because Golden shouldn’t be on grain free due to developing heart issues, he would turn his nose up at the Chicken and Salmon flavors we bought. We then tried Science Diet then back to Purina all the while wasting so much food and $. Finally I remembered my brother fed his 16.5 year old Dalmatian Beneful her entire life and she did so well on it. So I just picked up a bag of Salmon Beneful and our boy scarfed it up, wanting more. Now maybe it’s because he’s gone literally two whole days refusing his other food but if he continues to eat this, I’m just sticking with it. I do wish however, they did NOT use artificial coloring! Please find a more natural, healthful coloring alternative like vegetable coloring. Please!

When my dog started getting this pink rash on her stomach from having too much yeast in her diet, I switched to this brand (been about 3 years now) and I couldn’t be happier. She no longer gets the pink rash, her coat is super shiny and soft. She has always been a happy dog but now I am happy knowing that she is healthy.
