Purina Dog Chow with Real Chicken Adult Complete & Balanced Dry Dog Food

Been making my dogs sick. Definitely skipping the Purina products from now on.

This is one of the only dog foods my dog will eat

If you look closely at this food, you will find tiny black hairs that nearly look like roach legs or antennas. You can basically pluck the hair out with tweezers from the kibble as if it were being tweezed from skin. I looked it up and it could be coming from contamination or overall poor manufacturing. I won’t be buying this food again.

I’ve bought this brand of food for my dog several times. Each time he got the runs. First time (and I change brands often for him. He’s a picky eater if he doesn’t have a switch up so his tolerance of diet changes are pretty strong) he had massive diarrhea. I didn’t think anything of it the first time, the probability of the diet change plays a possibility. But this has happened to him each time I got this brand. Thanks Purina.

We Have 3 Dog’s In Total, 2 German Shepherd’s & 1 Chihuahua/Queensland & They Loooooooooooove This “Green Bag” Dog Chow & If It’s Not The “Green Bag” Dog Chow Our Male Dang Near Won’t Eat, So We Have To Tell Him That He Can’t Go Outside, Until He Eat’s His Foot.

This is my dogs favorite food at the moment and target gets it here the fastest. My parents are high risk and the order everything they can so they don't have to go out too much and target just gets things here quicker

We’ve been using Purina for many years. Our current dog is a black Lab/boarder collie mix. He is very active and he loves this brand. We tried him on another purina food and he couldn’t tolerate it but this works for him.

My dogs absolutely love Dog Chow Adult Complete in the Chicken flavor! As soon as I fill their bowls, they rush over and eat it up so fast and it’s clear they enjoy the taste. I love that it’s made with real chicken and provides complete and balanced nutrition to keep them healthy and active. Their coats look shiny, and their energy levels have been great since switching to this food. It’s affordable, easy to find, and something I feel good feeding them daily. Definitely a go-to in our household!

My family has always used purina dog chow for as long as I can remember. When I got my own dog I decided that was what I was going to feed her. She likes it and have had no issues up until this last bag I bought. I have found larvae of some sort in it. I saw it in her bowl and freaked out. Then I seen it in the rest of her dog food. I am udderly disappointed and disgusted. I shouldn’t have to worry about what I feed my fur baby. I shouldn’t have to worry about larvae being in a bag of dog food. I looked through our other two dogs food (one is the same brand the other is not) all are stored in the same area. So this is something subject to the bag I purchased. When I looked up if anyone else has had this problem they said that they have! What a horrible and shameful thing to do!
