[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old has wanted one of these for some time now. She was super excited to open it up and get playing with it. The inside of the bag is half taken up by the battery and mechanical pack of the eyes. Which she was a little disappointed by. She struggles to get the bag to realise she is stroking the top - which sets off the sounds and eye movement. It’s a cute idea but sadly she got bored of it pretty quickly.

Very easy for her to use and she loves the reaction from other people when they see the eyes move and it make its noises. Design is lovely and it doesn’t make so much noise that it becomes over the top! Would make a fantastic Xmas gift for a little person in your life and there’s many other designs to choose from too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter adores her new purse pet and has barely put it down since receiving it. She wants to wear it all the time. It has an adjustable strap and I feel it’s better for her to wear it across the body, so there’s no chance of it falling off. The purse itself is made of quality, durable material with a pretty, fashionable plaid design in lilac. The ears are glittery and pink and the wings are a fluffy pastel pink. It’s quite easy to wipe down if necessary and dries quickly. The owls eyes are are big and round and they blink. The battery pack is inside the purse and takes up quite a bit of space as it holds 3 AA batteries. This isn’t really an issue as it is supposed to be a purse not a handbag. There’s enough space for a few bits and pieces. She’s more interested in playing with it as opposed to using it to carry things. It’s very interactive which is the fun part. If you hug the purse it’ll respond with sounds and she blinks. She has over 30 sounds and reactions. I won’t spoil the surprise but it’s very entertaining and actually very cute. Alongside the normal sweet sound reactions, there’s a secret button on the front that’ll turn on magic mode, which plays music, you can tap the forehead of the purse to mix the music and make scratching sounds. She responds to questions and play games. There’s plenty to keep kids occupied. You can also link other purse pets and they’ll interact together. it’s very sturdy, responsive and enjoyable and I’m sure most younger children will enjoy it the way my granddaughter is. Definitely good value.

This particular one has a very cute owl design with beautiful check pattern material. Only small negative for me is the battery compartment takes up a fair amount of the space within the purse compartment but this doesn’t bother my girl.

My granddaughter Is newly 4 and she adores this Purse Pet. We are both learning together all the whacky and wonderful things it is capable le of and we are nowhere near all of it! It is a toy that fosters sharing, which I have been trying so hard to instill as she is starting school in September. The Purse Pet has provided many giggles to all of us over and over and I love the bashful way she bats her lashes (which my granddaughter tries to emulate) lol. Its adorable, soft, alive and practical because you can actually put things into it! My daughter is 6 and very into animals and purses so this combination is amazing! She gets compliments everywhere we go with it and when we show people it comes to life, they ask where they can get one! Loves that it's pink too :) Once I read up on what the purse is supposed to do and how to make it do those things it's actually really cool. If you're strutting your stuff she plays music while you walk the "runway" Also when cuddling makes a weird vibrating noise that's supposed to be a purr but doesn't quite sound like one lol. Overall my daughter is happy and do am I.
