Pyle 10" Shallow Subwoofer for ATV/UTV with Marine Grade Waterproof Rating PSSUB101

I might have given a 5-star review but my reason is because, 1st} When I saw the initial add it was horribly misleading making this speaker sound like I was buying their self-powered sub-woofer so when I received the speaker and only a 2-wire cable w/ no inputs I was not happy. 2nd) I then "TRIED" to get ahold of support to no avail. . . . I even emailed them {X2} and still have never received a return email. 3rd) So I decided to keep and use the sub I purchased an amp, cables etc. and installed amp under my passenger seat. . . . The instructions for their "Clamp" system is poor to say the least. 2 metal clamps and 4 spacers w/ no reference on which spacer in which clamp to get to your desired fit. I had a really tough time getting their clamp to work on my 1 1/2" bar which runs vertical. I really need a clamp that lets me mount speaker correctly on a vertical bar. their clamps are designed to only work on a horizontal bar. Finally, I did not use a PYLE amp, but the speaker sounds pretty good after all my extra effort. I added this to my 2025 CAN-AM Maverick Trail 1000 w/ the Can-Am - WETSOUNDS custom stereo system which is 200 watts and I'm running my sub amp at 400-watts output to match the PYLE sub-woofer max input wattage. My bass adjustment knob is under my 4X4 switch in pictures. I saved $500 doing my sub this way over the WETSOUND sub costing $800 and taking up my larger passenger side glove box for their installation location.

If you are looking for any bass at all this is not for you. Installed this on a 2024 rzr xp ultimate in multiple places to see where it sounded best. The answer? In the trash. My stock speakers have more bass than this thing. I used a 400w amp at 2 ohm for the rzr and after my heart sank at the performance I put it on a 1000w at 2 ohm on my desk and it still was barely any louder. Would not recommend

Installed this on my boat about two weeks ago, and it's been great so far. I wanted something compact, weatherproof, and easy to set up without sacrificing too much on sound—and this fit the bill. The bass is way better than I expected for the size, and it fills the open space on the water really well without rattling everything to death. Mounting was straightforward. The included brackets and quick-connect terminals made it easy to wire up without needing a bunch of extra tools or time. I had it installed and running the same afternoon it showed up. It's been through some saltwater spray and a couple wet rides already, and it's holding up just fine. The weatherproof housing seems solid, and I like that I don't have to worry about babying it. It's not the deepest, earth-shaking bass in the world, but for a 10"" powered unit in a compact space, it definitely punches above its weight. If you want a simple, rugged sub for your boat or UTV that doesn't take hours to install or need a ton of tuning, this one's a good bet.
