A: Hi luislast, thanks for reaching out about Pyle 4-Channel Stereo Speaker Selector - Volume Control, Rugged Housing, Cabinet Heat Sink - Plug and Play Easy Install - PLSHVC412 This item uses spring clip terminals for its connections. There is an Amplifier Input that has one set of spring clip terminals to connect the left and right speaker outputs from your stereo receiver or amplifier. Also this has the Speaker Outputs, which is four sets of spring clip terminals, labeled for four different pairs of speakers (Speaker 1 L/R, Speaker 2 L/R, Speaker 3 L/R, Speaker 4 L/R). These spring clip terminals are designed to accept bare speaker wire, typically up to 14 gauge. You press down on a lever or clip, insert the stripped end of the speaker wire into the opening, and then release the lever to secure the wire.
