Q: Where is the quality control? The glass is riddled with defects and the lids are brittle, cracking easily. Target has dropped the ball allowing this product on its shelves.

A: Hello! There is no upper temperature limit for these dishes in the oven. As long as the oven is fully preheated before the dishes go in, and our other Use & Care guides are followed. The lids are not safe to use in the oven.

Lids are tough to remove
I was very much hoping these containers would be ideal. They weren't. After putting green beans in one of the containers, I was unable to get the lid to come off. Each side has a clamp, and whenever I undid the clamps and tried to take the lid off, one of the clamps would reclose. This is a serious design flaw.

Arrived used and replacement was shattered
I ordered this for my daughter who’s in college living in an apartment. The first set arrived used and missing one of the lids. They sent a replacement that arrived shattered. Whoever boxed it up put it in too large of a box with brown paper for “cushion”. I feel like Targets returns should be examined for reselling. And your shipping procedures of glass items need to be revised.

Where is Pyrex quality control?
I ordered 12 sets for gifts, only to find 7 of the sets were defective. So dissapointed to unwrap and find brown marks on bottom of the 9x13 pans. I tried to remove with a variety of cleaning methods with no luck. Also a huge hassle to haul the sets back to the store for return. Only options were to physically take back to store or print label and return to a shipping center. It's such a shame Pyrex company didn't catch this defect!

Product was poorly packed and arrived broken. Returning item to store was a joke. The clerk claimed they couldn't find my order number, or my card that I used to purchase this item. But by giving them my license I got a store credit. How does this make sense. If they had none of the info how would they know how much store credit to give??? Just a gimmick to make sure you spend your money there. Will not be shopping there anymore.

Bad Luck or Bad Quality Control?
I purchased this item twice. The first one had some kind of black mineral or burned glass in bottom of the large container, so I exchanged it for a replacement unit. The second unit had some wrinkle marks on the bottom of the large container. Despite the wrinkle marks, the glass surface on both sides felt smooth. Not wanting to go through another exchange process again, I put a hot chicken on top of the glass and began to pour gravy. The glass then exploded (probably from the heat). I don't know if I had bad luck or if the quality control for this item is inconsistent.

Exploded in oven
Had this set for a year and loved baking with it! but the 9x13 pan just exploded in my oven! Preheated oven at 400 and after 30mins I heard it explode, glass everywhere. Pyrex says it can withhold up to 450° but now I'm cleaning glass out of my oven. I really did love these baking dishes but now I'm scared to use glass in the oven

Terrible! Prepped a casserole and poured it in put in oven for 15 min @ 350°F and by 11min it shattered. Ruining my whole dinner

helpful in terms of oven-to-fridge ease, but definitely not airtight containers. Can't pack lunches in them because they always leak.
