A: No, it's not. If you look at the pictures there is one close up showing type of fabric

A: No the headboard is sold by itself. If you are wanting to attach it to a bed frame then you would need to purchase the headboard brackets separately.

A: Yes, that is the thickness of the headboard. The upholstered part is 22.4 inches high.
