The popular classic game with mosaics made up of colored balls has become a useful machine to introduce small children to computational thinking and unplugged coding. Computational thinking is the ability to break a complex problem down into different parts in order to make it easier to solve. Unplugged coding teaches the principles of programming without using electronic devices.

Eh, it's ok?

My kids really like this toy. They really do. It keeps them interested and engaged. But the balls can get stuck and require some shaking and tapping to release them. It is like a jumbo sized fast-food toy. I do not think the quality of the toy is worth the price BUT if they really do learn to think like a coder, I guess it will be worth it in the long run...if it lasts for the long run. Until I see results in the thinking department, I couldn't really recommend this toy at this price unless you've got money to burn and a very gentle and patient child.
