Radius Vanilla Mint With Coconut Oil Sponge Floss - Case of 6/55 yd

I have bought this floss a couple times now after finding it at Natural Grocers. I picked it after seeing some YouTube videos that the plastic in traditional floss could cause you harm? I don’t remember how they said how though. Although I notice this floss is thicker or something because I struggle to get it in between my teeth, and even worse, it makes my gums bleed even though I’m flossing correctly and this does not occur when I use regular floss. I believe this is because since it’s harder to get the floss to go between my teeth I have to use more force, and by the time it gets between the teeth it plunges down and hits my gums too hard? Idk. I wanted to write this review somewhere to forewarn people. I’m at a loss because it seems like nothing is good. I can’t floss with normal floss, using a water floss apparently should not be used as a full time replacement, and now this floss is causing me problems but I’m potentially harming myself making my gums bleed and all because everyone’s advertising to me that it’s so good for you. Also I’m disappointed with the packaging. I get through 3/4 of my mouth with one floss strand (they come individually packaged inside a small little box) so I have to open a brand new one just to do the other 1/4 of my mouth, leaving the rest leftover. There’s so much packaging because each strand I’m assuming was made to be used in one go around but it’s not long enough for me at least and it seems wasteful to package each and every use. Plus the package it contains them all in seems pretty small like it’s not a lot before you have to go to the store to buy again. But I’m wondering if there’s more of a deal if you buy more?

My husband used this floss for the first time. He really liked it. For me, it is too thick for my narrow tooth margins.

I like this floss. It's my first time using it. I'm sure I'll continue to purchase it in the future.

So convenient to carry with me and I feel good about using biodegradable floss.

It's good floss. The only thing I could possibly suggest is possibly have an option for those that need to have feeders for braces or other dental fixtures. Just a thought.

Just like anything Radius does, it's just better. You'll notice the difference.

I’ve been using radius toothbrushes for 30 years Never had a problem.. except now everything is online but no worries because the most reliable representative Bonnie always takes care of me and makes me feel like family.. oh and she just threw in some silk floss with my order.. what more can I ask for ?

The flex brushes do a great job of cleaning my teeth.

Feels like its really cleaning my teeth,has no garbage on the floss.

Docked a star because I wish they weren't individually packaged. It is convenient to have the right amount of floss portioned out but then it creates more waste when each portion is individually wrapped. With that said, I do love how it is biodegradable and women owned so I will purchase again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This floss works well and does not break. Some of the spaces between my teeth are very tight. With some brands, the floss breaks when I pull it through. But not with RADIUS floss! I love that RADIUS is women-owned and based in the US. And I love that RADIUS partners with a cooperative farm in South America to produce the floss. I would have given the floss 5-stars, but now I am seeking vegan floss, and silk floss is not vegan. There's nothing wrong with the floss itself, it’s just not what I am looking for at the moment.
