Kettle Cooked Roasted Garlic Sauce is too garlicy.
Have thoroughly enjoyed pretty much every Ragu sauce that I have ever tried... until now. This Kettle Roasted Garlic Sauce is disgusting. I am a big fan of garlic, but the garlic flavor in this sauce was gross. The pungent taste completely overpowered the sauce. Made the mistake of using this putrid sauce in my stuffed shells recipe and ended up having to throw the entire dish out in the trash. No idea how this one made it through your taste testers. Please pull this nasty product.

So happy I tried this. I seen a commercial and figured it wouldn’t hurt to try. Every single jar sauce I’m always adding seasoning to. This one needed no seasoning. It was delicious on its own.

It's not bad tasting but is to bland for my tastes. In general, pizza sauce is very personal preferance type of thing. I have yet to find a real pizzeria tasting sauce at the grocery store.

Great dinner
I used this sauce tonight for dinner, and when I took a taste test, I noticed it was very acidic. I added a pinch of sugar to cut the acidity, as you would in tomato soup, and it tasted so much better. I added cooked onions and garlic, as well as ground beef. Yum!

My daughter bought this for Spaghetti for dinner..she usually buys Rao brand but not my favorite..this one we had with hamburger and mini pepperoni and even my Grandson loved the taste. Guess this is our new go to for Spaghetti at our house..no added sugar as I am Diabetic..

The texture and consistency is normal for what you'd expect from a store bought pasta sauce, but the flavor is unique and different. I'd recommend this Ragu pasta sauce to anyone who likes the taste of garlic - if you normally throw a couple of cloves in when browning the meat for a spaghetti, this would save a little bit of time.

We had it over some Ziti with fresh mushrooms and green peppers and it was delicious both the day we made it and after reheating from the fridge two days later. Yum!!

I didn’t have the highest of hopes going in, as I find many many jarred sauces are so sweet and not natural tasting. This sauce changed my mind though! I love that the sauce isn’t sweet. Pasta sauce shouldn’t be sweet!! It had a nice rich notes of roasted garlic, onions, and tomatoes. It was a lovely natural tasting sauce. I didn’t have to add much to this sauce at all to get it to our liking, so that’s definitely a win for me! This sauce was nice and thick, not watery, and not a bunch of huge tomato chunks. The sauce coated our pasta well and we really enjoyed the flavor of this sauce. I will definitely be purchasing this sauce in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im normally not a huge fan of marinara sauce because they usually are on the sweeter side and so much so that it out flavors the other important ingredients. This sauce is definitely the opposite of that! It’s less sweet and I was able to really enjoy the garlic and and basil flavors. It tasted very gourmet and I would definitely buy this again. I used it for our spaghetti and home made meatballs dish and the flavor and texture of the sauce was just perfect!
